In Turkey, secondary real estate ranks first in terms of demand

According to the report on the secondary housing market, the third quarter of 2022 saw almost 227,120 transactions involving secondary housing stock. This figure is 18% lower than the same rate during this time last year. But it still covers 69% of all sales. The annual price growth peaked at 202%, with Istanbul and Antalya taking the lead in terms of rates. The real estate market slowed considerably in the third quarter of 2022, largely due to increasing prices. According to experts, the sales numbers from the previous quarter will be more stable, and as a result, there will be more transactions this year than there were last year.
