At the end of April, the Turkish resort of Alanya will once again become the centre of a vibrant cultural event – the ‘Alanya’ International Children’s Festival, organised by the city’s municipality, will take place here. The festival is traditionally timed to coincide with Independence Day and Children’s Day, bringing together participants from various countries and transforming the resort into a hub for creativity and interaction among young talents.
According to the organisers, the festival will take place on 25–26 April 2026 and will be the eighth edition. A packed programme awaits visitors during these days: performances by children’s groups, dance routines, play areas and interactive zones. The main events will take place in the city centre and will be open to the general public.
Particular attention is being paid to cultural exchange: participants will showcase their countries’ traditions through music, dance and national costumes. The event is expected to attract not only local residents but also tourists, boosting interest in Alanya as a family holiday destination.
