Ozgur Erbas, president of the Association of Realtors of Antalya, announced a record rise in the number of Russians in Alanya, particularly in Mahmutlar. "Today, we can easily call Mahmutlar the Russian district of Alanya," he stated in an interview on the real estate market situation.

He observed that many Russian visitors who purchase real estate start to rent it out. As a result, "the rental sector in Alanya ended up in the hands of the Russians," according to Ozgur Erbas. So, the majority of Russian tenants hunt for acceptable accommodation on Russian-language services.
