Turkey has become the only country granting citizenship for real estate purchase

Since April 1, Turkey has become the only state in which Russians have the opportunity to obtain citizenship for real estate investments in 2023.

Until March 31, Turkey and Grenada provided citizenship to Russians investing in real estate. However, the deadline for submitting applications for residents of the Russian Federation who wanted to use this opportunity in Grenada expired on March 31, 2023.

Now Russians have the right to obtain Turkish citizenship for investments in real estate in the amount of $400,000 or more.

The most popular cities for buying real estate from Russians in Turkey are still Istanbul, Kemer, Antalya (especially the Muratpasha and Konyaalti districts). Another of the undisputed leaders in moving and investing in real estate among citizens of the Russian Federation is Alanya. Basically, Russians choose Mahmutlar, where a large Russian diaspora lives, to buy a property.
