The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) published its housing sales data for September 2026 on 16 October. In Antalya province, 6,704 sales were registered during the month, up from 5,855 in August. Buyers purchased 2,271 homes from developers, and another 4,433 changed hands on the resale market.

Across Turkey, foreigners bought 2,167 flats and houses in September, 9.9% more than a year earlier. The country recorded 142,390 sales in total, 9.3% fewer than in September 2025, and foreign buyers accounted for 1.5% of them. Citizens of Russia (388 sales), Iraq (166) and Germany (162) bought the most. In Antalya, Russians completed 260 purchases, Ukrainians 108 and Germans 69. On the same day the Central Bank of Turkey released its house price index: in the Antalya–Burdur–Isparta region prices rose by 20% in lira terms over the year, against 22.3% nationwide. In real terms, adjusted for inflation, prices across the country fell by 5.7%.

Rents on new tenancy agreements in the region went up by 23.6% over the year, faster than property prices themselves. Rental income relative to the price of a flat has therefore risen slightly. In September, buyers across the country favoured new builds over resale homes: sales on the primary market grew by 3.9%, while resale transactions fell by 15.3%. If a home is sold directly by a developer in Turkey, it is worth comparing how the price of its flats has changed over the year with the regional index. When choosing among residential complexes under construction or apartments for sale, it also makes sense to look at rent levels in the area.
