Russians are increasingly interested in buying Turkish real estate

In the first 6 months of 2022, the demand for real estate in Turkey doubled compared to the same period last year. The trend of demand growth has been observed for several years, but it was in the spring of this year that there was a new jump. For example, more than 1,000 Turkish properties were purchased in April. However, the way of buying a home has also changed: in recent years, more and more residents of the regions are buying properties in Turkey, while Muscovites and Petersburgers are interested in housing in Europe. Now, residents of the two main capitals of the Russian Federation have become buyers of real estate in the Republic of Turkey.
