Gazipasa-Alanya International Airport (GZP) has announced a tender for a large-scale infrastructure expansion project. The airport operator, Fraport TAV Antalya, plans to increase the terminal's capacity and improve the adjacent passenger service areas.
The project includes the expansion of the terminal, apron and parking areas to improve the quality of services for passengers. The tender for the work will close on 17 November 2025, after which contractors will be able to start implementing the project.
Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport already plays a key role in the region's transport accessibility, providing proximity to the centre of Alanya, approximately 40 km away. GZP serves numerous international and domestic flights, making it important for tourism in the eastern part of Antalya Province.
In the first 10 months of 2025, the airport welcomed around 917,000 passengers, confirming the relevance of the infrastructure expansion. The new improvements will enhance service quality and terminal capacity, as well as improve the passenger experience when using the airport.
