October showed leading results in real estate sales to foreigners

For the first time in the last three years, the number of real estate deals in Turkey, which were concluded with foreigners, has reached a record level. According to Emlakkulisi portal, this number was 5,893 compared to 5,258 transactions in the current period of last year. In 2019, this figure barely crossed the threshold of 4,270 sales. The figures are based on foreign buyers.

The figures were higher only in August. The citizens of Europe entered the top three after the Iranians and Iraqis. The share of European buyers accounted for 543 residential properties. The list of cities in which real estate was most in demand is as follows: Istanbul, Antalya, Ankara.

Since the beginning of the year, sales to foreigners have increased by 38.0% compared to 2020.
