European village was found in Mahmutlar

According to the Institute of Statistics of Turkey, in 2021, the number of transactions for the purchase of Turkish real estate by Europeans increased by 75% compared to a year earlier. The Europeans were in 3rd place after the Iranians and Iraqis in the number of transactions made.

But it became especially interesting that entire European villages began to form on the territory of popular resorts. We are talking about Mahmutlar, the resort of Alanya.

Few locals live in Mahmutlar, but Europeans are everywhere here. Almost all cottages already belong or are rented for a long time to European expats. Another part of the houses is rented to tourists from different countries, but the owners of real estate are still citizens of Europe.
