SGK and TOKİ open auction for valuable land in Alanya

The sale of attractive land assets has started in the popular Turkish resort of Alanya. The Social Security Administration (SGK) together with the Housing Administration (TOKİ) have decided to auction 12 plots located in prestigious neighbourhoods. Among them are areas in Kestel and on the slopes of Kale, which have already caused a stir among potential buyers.

According to local sources, the bulk of the lots - 11 plots - belong to SGK. They are scattered in different neighbourhoods: Payallar, Çarşı, Incekum, Kargıcak, Konaklı, Mahmutlar and Tosmur. Of particular interest are three lots in Çarşı, on the slopes of Kale, with an estimated value of 11 to 12 million Turkish Liras each. The most expensive lot is in Konaklı, with an area of over a thousand square metres, starting at 12.6 million TL. The total expected proceeds from these sales will exceed 107 million liras. The auction will be held electronically on the SGK portal from 12 to 23 January 2026. Bidders will be able to submit bids online, but access will be closed after the deadline.

TOKİ has one but very tempting plot in Kestel at the auction - almost 600 square metres for residential and commercial use. It is only 140 metres from the D-400 highway and 250 metres from the sea. The starting price is 30.7 million liras. There are flexible terms: a quarter of the amount at once, the balance in instalments for 48 months, and a 15% discount on full payment. The museum auction is scheduled for 25 December this year.

Experts say that such sales are a rare opportunity for investors to invest in property on the Mediterranean. Districts like Kestel and Kale are attracted by their proximity to beaches and historical sites, which promises good returns on construction or resale. The Alanya market has been growing strongly recently, thanks to tourism and infrastructure. However, buyers are advised to scrutinise documents carefully to avoid surprises.

This auction is part of a wider campaign to realise state assets, aimed at replenishing the budget. Both local entrepreneurs and foreigners looking for profitable investments in Turkey are already showing interest in the lots.
