Demand for Turkish properties among Russian buyers increased by 46%

Turkey again became one of the most popular destinations for Russians who are interested in overseas housing. The demand for housing in Turkey among Russians increased by 46%.

The reasons to such significant growth include stabilization of economic and political relations between Russia and Turkey, tax reduction for foreign property buyers, weakening of Turkish Lira, and high quality of services property buyers get in this country. Another important factor is that foreign property buyers are allowed to obtain a Turkish residence permit. To get a right for a residence permit, your property need to cost at least $250,000, which is very low comparing with other countries. For example, in Greece the minimum property price to get a residence permit is €250,000 and in Spain this figure reaches €500,000.
