Lower production of construction materials may lead to higher real estate prices in Turkey

The results of the third quarter were summed up based on the results of the Turkish industry. They showed a decrease in the production of building materials. For example, the production of bricks decreased by almost 15%, and that of cement – by 4.2%. The lack of new projects this year caused a rise in real estate prices in Turkey. The housing stock is popular and in great demand, including among foreign nationals, so the demand for new housing exceeds the supply. It is likely that the reduction in the production of building materials will lead to a new round of price growth. Therefore, it is more profitable to invest in Turkish real estate right away.
