The Turkish authorities plan to introduce a restriction on rent growth

This measure is forced, since the increase in tariffs over the past year amounted to more than 182%. The maximum growth was recorded in Istanbul, while offers decreased even against the background of these figures. According to the Minister of Justice, the restriction measure will be temporary and is designed, first of all, to protect Turkish families with an average income who lose out on solvency to wealthy foreigners. Regulation will be carried out on the basis of analytical information obtained in other countries with a similar situation, and within the framework of the current inflation. At the same time, the interests of both tenants and landlords will be taken into account.
