A report by the Real Estate Services Exporters Association (GİGDER) has revealed that the value of residential property in Turkey for foreign investors has reached a new high. The data for the second quarter of this year reveals that the average price of a property purchased by foreign investors reached a record high of $273,233. This surpasses the previous figure of $170,719, marking a significant increase since the launch of the index.
It is notable that May this year saw a considerable rise in the number of transactions involving foreign buyers, with an increase of over 60% compared to April. Turkish housing remains a sought-after investment, particularly given the appreciation in the value of properties purchased a few years ago, from $300 thousand to $1 million today.
