Alanya Municipality has unveiled a package of new infrastructure projects for the city. According to the municipality's official website, in October 2026 the city council approved initiatives to build a public library, a multi-storey car park and an Emergency Coordination Centre.
Fire protection has been identified as a separate priority: as part of the same programme, the municipality is implementing measures to equip the city's infrastructure with firefighting facilities. Previously, 6 fire tankers were already purchased for Alanya's rural areas.
The new facilities are intended to improve the quality of the urban environment and the level of safety for residents. The library will become part of the city's cultural infrastructure, while the Emergency Coordination Centre will ensure a rapid response from emergency services in the event of natural or man-made incidents.
