Alanya remains the favourite among Russian property buyers in Turkey

Alanya is reaffirming its status as the leading destination for Russian property buyers in Turkey. According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Russian citizens purchased more than 15,000 homes here between 2022 and 2026 — 15,225 in total. A mild climate, well-developed infrastructure and an established international community keep the city in the spotlight for foreign investors.

The peak came in 2022, with 6,640 properties, after which the market moved to a calmer pace: 4,203 homes in 2023, 2,352 in 2024 and 1,662 in 2025. The trend continues in 2026: between January and April, Russians bought 368 homes in Alanya out of 902 across Turkey. The city confidently holds first place among the districts favoured by foreigners.

Experts link this steady interest to the warm year-round climate, convenient transport access and a mature international community that newcomers can easily join. For anyone considering buying property in Turkey, Alanya remains one of the most reliable and predictable choices.
