What to do in Alanya in winter?

Turkish resorts are renowned, popular summer holiday destinations that have plenty of activities on offer. However, the winter season in Turkey does not attract that many tourists. January is the coldest month in Alanya. But that does not mean that there is nothing to do there.

The average temperature in January, the coldest month, is around 10-20 degrees and there is no snow. Such mild weather conditions make it perfect to enjoy various activities:

Beach walks. The bravest ones can even enjoy swimming, but that is surely not for everyone. But a picnic with your friends and family is surely an option that everyone will truly enjoy, especially when it’s getting warm up to 20 degrees.

Winter entertainments. If you love snow, then make sure you visit the Davraz ski resort, where you will be able to explore kilometers of ski trails of different level.

Sightseeing. The winter is the time when you can explore Alanya without any crowds of tourists as it often happens in the summer. Our top recommendation is to visit the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Syedra and the Dim Magarasi Cavern.

The winter in Alanya can be as comfortable and entertaining as in the summer, offering plenty of activities for any taste.
