More than 11 million foreigners visited Antalya in the past nine months

Following the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Turkey is facing the busiest period since all restrictions were removed. According to the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, from January 1 to September 30, 11.27 million tourists visited Antalya. This number grew by 57% in comparison with the previous year.

The Russian were the most active visitors, they took first place. They were followed by the German, the British, and the Polish. Currently, many Europeans have already begun making reservations for hotels and renting properties for the winter holidays to escape the dark days and cold weather, which will be compounded by the energy crisis. According to experts, this tendency will positively impact the income of owners of housing and commercial units in Turkey.
