PANDEMIA HAS PROVIDED UNPRECEDENTED PRICE GROWTH IN PRINCES ISLANDS IN TURKEY

Princes Island is a breath of fresh air for those tired of the city routine. This incredibly picturesque place is located just minutes from Istanbul. You can get there by ferry.

The archipelago consists of 9 islands located in the Marmara Sea of Istanbul. This place is completely car-free. The largest island, Büyükada, is home to only 7.5 thousand people. Many of the islanders are remote employees. Largely due to the growing number of remote workers, the value of properties on the islands is steadily increasing.

Property prices on Princes Island are up 52% in 2021, making it one of the most valuable places to live in Turkey.
Şile, located on the Asian side of Istanbul, received a record growth in demand for properties and, as a result, a 51.8% increase in prices. The third fastest growing price is the island of Sarıyer, located on the European side. Housing prices here have increased by 37%.

Real estate director in Turkey Cameron Deggin stressed that the pandemic played an important role in increasing interest in the islands, since it has been this that caused many socio-economic changes over the past year.
