Turkish property sales to foreigners for august 2023 are summarised

The Turkish Statistical Institute (Turkstat) has published statistics for August. Russians are in first place among foreigners who became owners of Turkish property. Russian citizens concluded 733 deals. This is more than twice as many as Iranians who bought 342 properties. The third place is occupied by the Iraqis with 220 deals, followed by citizens of Kazakhstan and Ukraine. There is a slight decrease in the dynamics of the number of deals for Russians.

This July, they purchased 772 properties. If we compare sales to foreigners with the data for August last year, there is a decrease of 42%. At the same time, Istanbul, Antalya, and Mersin remain the most popular regions.
