Turkey has tightened the rules for issuing a tourist residence permit: now almost no one gets it

Information about refusals to issue a tourist residence permit has been received from Turkey since the end of 2022. However, the authorities have only now commented on the situation. The government is indeed tightening control over foreigners who have arrived in the country for tourist purposes.
