All travellers coming to Turkey to be tested for COVID-19

Testing for COVID-19 will be mandatory for all foreign travelers coming to Turkey as well Turkish residents. Special laboratories will be arranged to test arrived travelers in the airports in the key tourist provinces, including Antalya.

Testing will be obligatory for all travelers coming from foreign countries. It will be done before going through passport control. According to experts, the whole testing procedure will take about 2-3 minutes and the results will be available within 5-6 hours. Positively tested passengers will be immediately isolated in the hotel or any other accommodation as well as the rest of passengers of that flight.

Mehmet Ersoy also said that testing will be organized in a manner that will allow avoiding crowds of passengers to ensure maximum comfort and safety.
